Founder's Story

My journey with Tibetan culture began in my youth, when I first encountered stories of the snow-clad plateau in a documentary book. The majestic snow-capped mountains, devout faith woven into daily life, and the humble yet resilient lives of local people filled me with profound longing for the pure, rich spiritual world of that land. And so, a spiritual journey across mountains and oceans quietly began.

Over the years, I have returned to Tibet time and again for immersive journeys. Between wandering and quiet reflection, I beheld the breathtaking grandeur of the highlands, met warm-hearted local residents, walked through time-honored monasteries with lingering incense, and through deep inward exploration, found my true inner home.

By a stroke of fate, a respected Tibetan elder bestowed upon me the name Dechen—a Tibetan word meaning great bliss and perfect joy. This blessing took root like a seed, and eventually led me to turn my deep love for Tibet into a lifelong vocation.

My affection for Tibetan culture has long transcended my hometown and every city I have lived in. That is why I founded Song Yne—to turn this passion into a bridge. On one end, we connect with local artisans in Tibet and Nepal, providing them with stable, sustainable livelihood support. On the other, we reach kindred spirits around the world, sharing the power and warmth of Eastern spirituality with more people.

We create authentic, high-quality spiritual jewelry and ritual objects—companions for meditation, spiritual practice and mindful daily living. Our founding vision is rooted in firsthand travels across Tibet, a deep respect for Tibetan culture, and the symbolic traditions carried by sacred objects.

Our Craft & Origins

Song Yne partners with independent artisans across the globe to create spiritual pieces that calm the mind and inspire the soul.

Our creative foundation is built on time-honored crafts: metal chasing and mala stringing from Tibet, ancient Buddha statue carving and stone setting from Nepal, traditional jade carving from China, and handcrafted silver amulet craft from Thailand. Our craft network also extends to vintage sacred silverwork from Rajasthan, India; Tibetan Buddhist amulet making from Bhutan; gem cutting and prayer bead craftsmanship from Sri Lanka; and crystal jewelry handcrafting from Bali, Indonesia.

Each year, our team travels to key regions across Tibet, Nepal, South Asia and Southeast Asia to collaborate directly with local artisans. We adhere to sustainable, eco-conscious sourcing practices and uphold quality and ethical standards throughout the supply chain.

By working directly with makers, we continue to grow and strengthen our artisan network. We envision Song Yne not only as a jewelry brand, but also as a platform that provides long-term economic support to artisans across regions—carrying kindness and beauty to more people.
